Affordable Belize Real Estate

We, Affordable Belize Real Estate (ABRE hereinafter), are a licensed Advertisement Agency, dedicated specifically to the advertisement of Belize Real Estate for sale or rent, property scouting and referral services. We are a non-for-profit enterprise! Yes, the first real estate related agency non-for-profit in Belize!

This is not a richness seeking real estate project, but a medium to fund several other self-sustainable charitable and philanthropic projects for the benefit of present and future generations of Belizeans and the world at large. At least 70% of the income received by ABRE will be given back to the community in different ways to benefit the most people as possible.

Our first objectives will be the childrens of San Pedro, so our first beneficiaries will be the schools of San Pedro Town. We are presently in contact with few schools to determine how we can help the most in a shorter period of time.

ABRE soon will become part of a bigger non-for-profit, private, non-partisan, non-govermental organization. That it is expected to be of a much bigger impact on the betterment of present and future generations of Belizeans. All negotiations are in the primary stages, and all proper notices will be given in due time.

The owners of this bigger charitable organization, begs the community for understanding of their desire to remain anonimous in order to be able to live like normal persons among us. An understandable concern and the normal conduct of most philanthropic personalities.

However, as required by law, a Belizean attorney will be representing the organization. A proper recording of all incomes and/or donations received and/or given by ABRE will be maintained and available to the public. Full transparency to gain the trust of sellers and buyers alike, a trust that we need in order to move these projects faster.

Mr. Alex Canalez ( the gentleman on the welcome page), the founder, owner and present General Manager of ABRE, whom is semi-retired due to health reasons following a traffic accident, will remain as volunteer General Manager after the upcoming union of ABRE with the bigger organization.

We are proud to announce that few real estate brokers and private sellers have already offered to us the advertisement of their properties and a referral fee if we find a buyer for their properties. These good hearted persons were motivated by the innovative distribution of the standard commission fee, which instead of been keep by just a small circle of persons, now it will be share and used for the benefit of the many. We hope and expect many more brokers and private sellers to join our effords to bring a better standard and perspective of life to our children.

We realize that this innovative “share of the pie” will raise many questions among the real estate community and the public in general. We have received several questions already from the persons with whom we shared our ideas. As promised, the answers to those questions will be posted tomorrow in the FAQ page.
